After the Trip

It has been a few weeks since we were in country and honestly it is a little surreal to be back in the swing of the normal grind of work. I know Amy and Isaiah are ready to go back now and I am not sure if I don’t agree with them.

It is cool to see the change in the lives of the people on the team. Of course this is the main point of a short term mission trip. It is my prayer that they all will have found a new passion for serving the ministry of Christ. Lord willing, Amy is meeting with the ladies of the group and I will also try to meet with the men of the group in order to just see where each of them are spiritually after the trip. I have found that any time you go on one of these trips and God allows you to witness a great harvest there is such a high that accompanies it that when you come home it is almost a little depressing. I love the passion of the people of Honduras as they worship God and I also envy that passion for our people here, but for now I crave to maintain that passion in our own lives.
